Add a Sixpence
A little history for you (one of many theories), about the 1600's the Lord of the Manor would give his bride a piece of silver as a wedding gift. Eventually this was represented by a sixpence coin. It has become a tradition for many families and some coins have been passed down for generations. There are many other stories, lyrics, poems, etc. about the sixpence and some make an interesting read.
While some traditions say for the bride to put a sixpence in her shoe, we have some brides that attach it to their garter.
FYI, your coin will be a random date up to 1946. Prior to that they were minted with some silver and from 1947 on no silver.
The sixpence is $48 and comes in a tiny purple bag with a tie.
